| 是日本擬舉辦一隆重之全港華人混合邀請賽，藉以切磋球技，增進交流，惟發出邀請後僅得HKU及CDR女隊表示有興趣參加，最後被迫取消，而代之以會內聯歡性質，同時慶祝李俊基先生從事推展華人曲運二十年。詎料當日臨時出現者，竟亦可組成八隊之多；且氣氛尚算熱烈
...... The formal Invitational Mixed Tournament open for all Chinese Teams in Hong Kong was forced to be cancelled due to the poor response from team convenors. It was then planned to run a friendly tournament among close teams and individuals, and at the same time, to celebrate Mr. Lee's 20 year involvement in promoting hockey among local Chinese in HK. 賽事分兩組進行初賽，每組首二名出線爭奪決賽權。
Teams were divided into two pools in preliminary round. First two teams played each other
to enter the Final.
| 賽後收到個別球員的善意迴響，使已灰的心燃著於不久之將來，再籌備舉辦一隆而重之的全港華人交流賽事的冀盼；可這需要各球隊負責人的適當效率與支持。
Serveral positive comments which were received after the Tournament, retain our interest to run a Formal Tournament for all Chinese in HK as soon as possible. Of course, the appropriate efficiency and cooperation from Team Convenors are vital. |
